Children Reading the Holy Bible

ACADEMICS

We believe that all children are created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27) and precious in His sight (Matthew 19:14), and we believe that the task of educating children to follow the Lord is a major responsibility, privilege, and joy of believing families and the church (Proverbs 22:6).  Furthermore, we believe that the Bible is the foundation of moral and spiritual education and that all truth in any sphere belongs to the Lord and is consistent with the truth of the Bible (2 Corinthians 10:5).

Wilmore Foundations Academy is committed to providing holistic, Bible-centered education that facilitates the intellectual, creative, emotional, and spiritual education of children.  Our philosophy of education is based on two cardinal principles: first, the utilization and enhancement of the natural curiosity that children are given by God; and second, the involvement of parents as active participants with their children and the teachers in the children's learning process.  Our ultimate mission of Wilmore Foundations Academy is to provide encouragement and support to families who educate their children at home through in-class instruction and at-home activities that promote engaged learning.
